Abstract

Through my MFA thesis research, I intend to present the idea that jewelry and hollowware can be both an object and a means of communication. In this investigation, I imbue my work with a differentiating balance between Eastern and Western cultures. I create art forms that cross boundaries which defy the limitations of conventional definitions within the field of jewelry and metals.
