Description

This is a book of Psalms once owned by Winfield S. Shields. The full title of the book is "Psalms and Hymns Adapted to Social, Private and Public Worship in the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America, Approved and Authorized by the General Assembly." It was published in Philadelphia, at no. 265 Chestnut Street by the Presbyterian Board of Publication, with a publication date of 1843. The book measures approximately four inches tall by three inches wide, and has a blind tooled cover design for both the front and the back of the book.
