This is The Soldier's and Sailor's Almanac for 1865, published by the Protestant Episcopal Society for the Promotion of Evangelical Knowledge, No. 3 Bible House, New York. The book is paperbound and has forty-eight pages of text with black and white illustrations. It includes stories in the form of religious parables or sermons. The images here are of the first two pages of the almanac. The almanac is inscribed, "in memory of Camp Cadwalader, Philadelphia, Pa."
