This is postcard from the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Pensions, Record Division is addressed to Winfield S. Shields and notifies him that the Department has received his claim for a military pension and that it has been recorded and will be acted upon "in its regular turn." The claim was recorded on November 5, 1892.
