Description

This is a certificate of membership to the Francis Scott Key Memorial Association, issued to W. S. Shields, M.D., of Marion Center, PA. The Francis Scott Key Association was formed to preserve the historic home of Francis Scott Key in Washington, D.C. Key was the author of "The Star-Spangled Banner." This certificate is a part of Series A, with the number 36433, and issued in 1908.
